Nothing happened here

That’s right on February 29, 1776 and on that very spot absolutely nothing happened and while there are literally millions of other places where absolutely nothing happened this one is marked for posterity.

Elsewhere other things were happening on February 29, 1776, which was a Thursday if you are interested, though I don’t know why you would be, such as…

Well, sadly I couldn’t actually find anything that was happening on this Leap Year day anywhere in the world covered by Google, that’s not to say nothing happened though.

The world turned a few times as it sped through the solar system, though it has to be stressed that there was nothing out of the ordinary in that!

Some days are like that though aren’t they? Nothing happens, it was probably a little overcast, there might even have been a spot of drizzle towards evening and then poof the day was gone!

So Thursday February 29, 1776 was an unremarkable, never repeatable event, just like the day most of us were born on I suppose. Sigh!
