Having a lovely time

The British in the 1950 & 60’s weren’t known for being great communicators and so a postcard home while on a holiday trip usually didn’t describe the real fun or indeed the sights that was to be had on holiday. Not only that they were singularly unimpressed with anywhere that wasn’t home, towards the end of the sixties they took this attitude on foreign holidays to places like France and Spain and now employ it when thinking about leaving the EU.
