Mmmh! delicious!
Mind you I also like Chocolate Mice, just like this one, yum yum.
But don’t get me wrong I am not Roman, Slovenian or anything I have never and would never eat an Edible Dormouse, even if it was covered in Honey and straight from the Glirarium as the Romans called the terra cotta containers that they kept Edible Dormice in!
Did you know that even today the Slovenians consider Wild Edible Dormice a rare and tasty delicacy and Dormouse trapping an ethnic tradition.
I had always wanted to go to Slovenia because it is supposed to be such a nice country to visit, but you know I think there are other places I will visit before Slovenia now that I know that little titbit of knowledge!
