I don’t know much about French. I learned it at school and being taught in the UK meant that I forgot each word as I learned it, I didn’t bother to learn about verbs or grammar because it seemed so silly.
When I lived in France I discovered that the lessons I learned were invaluable because the french talked the same nonsense as everyone else.
